Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Da Nang
When you get to Da Nang, you’ll be smoothly taken to your hotel (Check-in time: 2 pm). At 2:30 pm, let the fun begin with a cool trip to Marble Mountain – it’s like a collection of five big hills named after different things like metal, water, wood, fire, and earth. You’ll see pagodas, caves, and cool spots dedicated to Buddha. Plus, catch awesome views of Da Nang beach and city, giving you a chill time.
Next, head to Cam Thanh village for a boat ride on a round bamboo boat. Feel the local vibes with their music and fishing stuff on the canal. After that, it’s time to explore Hoi An ancient town, a place influenced by lots of different cultures. Walk around, check out famous spots like the Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the old Tam Ky House, and the cool Chua Ong Pagoda. The town is a mix of different cultures, and you’ll see low tiled houses and assembly halls on our walk.
Finish the day with a yummy dinner at an Indian restaurant (you pick!). Then, after dinner, do something magical – drop flower lanterns on the Thu Bon River. It’s pretty awesome! Head back to your hotel for a good night’s sleep. (Just a heads up: Early check-in isn’t included, so be ready to wait a bit.)

Day 2: Bana Hills Adventure & Golden Bridge (B)
After a tasty breakfast, buckle up for an exciting ride to Bana Hills Station for a jam-packed day at Ba Na Hills. Get ready for a thrill with the modern cable cars that give you a bird’s-eye view – it’s like flying in the blue sky, surrounded by clouds and wind.
The highlight? The jaw-dropping Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hill, standing tall at 1,400 meters above a sea of clouds. Picture-perfect scenes unfold, so take lots of photos and be mindful not to cause any unintentional amazement-induced collisions.
Retreat for the night in Da Nang, soaking in the memories of your thrilling Bana Hills adventure.

Day 3: Departure from Danang – Welcome to Hanoi (B)
Say goodbye to Da Nang after a delightful breakfast. Off to Hanoi you go! When you land, a private transfer awaits to whisk you from the airport to your cozy haven. Check-in vibes start from 2 pm – early birds, keep those fingers crossed for availability.
Now, the afternoon unfolds with a visit to Ba Dinh Square, home to the Hochiminh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays). Get up close with the One Pillar Pagoda and Hochiminh’s House of Stilt.
The adventure continues with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university. Take a leisurely stroll around Sword Lake, visiting Ngoc Son Temple and crossing The Huc Bridge. Dive into the charm of the Old Quarter, with its 36 ancient wards and streets, and explore the vibrant Dong Xuan Market.
Settle in for the night in Hanoi, where each corner whispers tales of history and culture.

Day 4: Ninh Binh Exploration (B)
After a delicious breakfast, set off for Ninh Binh, home to the captivating Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, beloved by travelers worldwide.
After a scenic 2-hour journey, reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Dating back to 968, it served as the capital for 41 years, witnessing the rule of Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh dynasties. Explore the two temples dedicated to these kings, nestled on the grounds of the old royal palace, offering insights into Vietnam’s feudal history.
In the afternoon, take a short stroll to the boat station for a 2-hour boat trip along the Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on land.” Marvel at three limestone caves along the way, passing through Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba, surrounded by serene landscapes of limestone mountains, rice paddies, and temples.
Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon for a cozy overnight stay.

Day 5: Hanoi to Halong Bay Adventure (B, L, D)
Note: Travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay and back by cruise shuttle bus.
Embark on a morning journey from your Hanoi hotel to Halong Bay, treating you to the picturesque scenery of the Red River Delta. Observe the daily life of Vietnamese villages, where farmers work in rice fields, transport live pigs on bicycles, and guide large water buffaloes through the fields.
Upon arriving in Halong, step aboard a traditional sailing junk and be welcomed by the Crew Team. Sail through the Bay of the Descending Dragon, uncovering treasures like fascinating caves, pristine beaches, and picturesque floating villages. Take in the breathtaking rock formations rising from emerald waters.
While onboard, indulge in cruise services, attend a chef’s cooking demonstration, and savor a refined Vietnamese cuisine for lunch and dinner in the elegant dining room. As night falls, relish entertainment activities like movie night, squid fishing, or simply enjoy a cocktail amidst limestone rocks majestically emerging from the silent waters.
Experience the magic of staying overnight on a cruise in Halong Bay, making this leg of your journey truly memorable.

Day 6: Halong Bay Sunrise and Sail Back to Hanoi (B, Brunch)
For the early risers, join a serene Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun paints the sky. Begin your day with a light breakfast followed by a vibrant brunch. Dive into the enchanting beauty of Halong Bay, sailing past 2000 islets and exploring its iconic highlights.
Later, bid farewell to the mesmerizing landscapes as you head back to your Hanoi hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Halong Bay Farewell and Flight Back Home
After a satisfying breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to your Hanoi hotel, ensuring a smooth connection to your flight details. Your unforgettable Vietnam adventure comes to an end.

Cancellation Policy

The booking of the trip is subject to certain terms and conditions.

Changed your mind soon after booking?

We want you to be fully comfortable with your booking. Which is why we offer the below policy:

  • After making payment for any trip, in the event that you change your mind within 48 hours, you will get the full refund except for Rs. 1000 towards administrative charges. This is provided that at the time when you inform us of cancellation, there are at least 15 days before departure for domestic and 30 days before departure for international trip.
  • Refunds given under this scheme, are subject to the 'Additional Points' as stated below

The cancellation schedule is detailed below:

  • Cancellation after confirmation with payment anytime before 30 days of the commencement of tour: 15% of the value of the trip  or Rs 8000, (whichever is less), will be deducted and the rest refunded.
  • Cancelling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour: 25% of the value of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.
  • Cancelling 19-10 days before commencing of the tour: 50% of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.
  • Cancelling 9-7 days before commencement of the tour: 75% of the undiscounted tour cost will be deducted and the rest refunded.
  • Cancelling 6 days or lesser before the tour date: No refund for the tour.

Additional Points:

  • For any flight tickets booked additionally with the trip being cancelled, the cancellation policy of the airline will apply.
  • Amounts paid towards extras like activities or room nights are only returned on a ‘best effort’ basis. We are not liable for these amounts.
  • Amount paid towards handling charges while paying through the payment gateway (typically about 2.25%), is not returned while making any refunds.For bookings made online, as a goodwill gesture we absorb the processing fees for our travellers. However, we cannot absorb these in case of a cancellation.
  • If for any unforeseen reason, the trip gets cancelled by Ponytail , a complete refund would be made.
  • Refunds (when due) are paid directly into a bank account by Ponytail and take 30 days to process.
  • In case of cancellation, in addition to the trip cancellation policy stated above, losses incurred on cancelling the visa fee, insurance, and flights will be charged on actuals, over and above the standard cancellation rate even if these are part of inclusion in the package.
  • In case we are forced to reschedule the trip to a later date due to natural calamities, acts of god, civil unrest, war and other events beyond our control, this is NOT treated as a cancellation by Ponytail. In this case, you could choose to shift over to the new date at no cost OR any other trip by paying the applicable transfer charges OR avail a refund with minimum cancellation charges (lowest slab will apply) and any unrecoverable amount spent on behalf of the traveller will be charged. This includes, but is not limited to, visa fees, airline tickets, insurance and handling charges while paying through a payment gateway (typically 2.25%)
